Job Description

Front Desk Receptionist Job Description:
King of Prussia Dental Associates is seeking a friendly, outgoing and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will be responsible for the daily operations of the front desk and will play a key role in the overall patient experience. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Part time position is Monday - Wednesday and full time position will be Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday. Some evening hours will be required. Experience in the dental field and knowledge of Dentrix software is preferred but not necessary. Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment Looking for someone who is professional, upbeat, reliable and has the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Answer all phone calls, schedule appointments, and greet patients as they check in and out of the office. Collect payments for services rendered and explain patient financial responsibilities. Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits through online portals and insurance carriers. Confirm upcoming appointments and assist with managing the daily schedule. Check patients in and update demographic, insurance, and medical information as needed. Submit insurance claims and assist patients with insurance-related questions. Present treatment plans and discuss payment options with patients. Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management software. Coordinate communication between patients, doctors, hygienists, and team members. Respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Assist with recall efforts to schedule overdue hygiene and treatment appointments. Process referrals, records requests, and other administrative tasks as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Support a positive, team-oriented office environment and provide exceptional customer service.
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience; commensurate with qualifications and ability.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 27.0 - 36.0 per week
