Qualifications Proven experience in medical administrative support and front desk operations Proficient in managing medical records and patient service Strong computer skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology Excellent clerical and office experience, with a focus on customer service Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone. Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival and communicating with patients and clinical staff Protects patients rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
