Company Background:
The Green Remedy is a group of compassionate doctors and advocates that believe in medical cannabis as an alternative to traditional medicine. Our staff is well-informed and familiar with the state's medical cannabis laws. One of our strengths is successfully getting our patients approved for the medical cannabis program in several states, now including Alabama. The goal is to make the certification process as simple and seamless as possible for every patient. We believe in natural medicine and organic remedies. Traditional medicine does help, however, some prescription drugs are extremely toxic for the body. We want to show you a new and healthier way to live. A lifestyle change that can benefit your life and the lives of your families. •Please keep in mind that we are not a dispensary and we do not dispense cannabis or cannabis products. We help patients with the certification process•
Position Summary:
The Green Remedy is growing, and we are looking to add an additional member to the receptionist team. Our Medical Receptionists are the face of our business. You are the first and last person they see upon entering and leaving our facility and first impressions count. We are looking for a professional who believes that patients should be treated as people rather than a number in a file, and who understand the value of compassionate service. This job encompasses a little bit of everything and you will never be bored.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors to our medical office. Answer patient questions and aid when necessary. Answer incoming calls and inquiries. Obtain external medical reports as required. Respond to emails. Schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays. Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions. Register new patients and update necessary records. Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and then check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately. Process patient payments in office. Maintain confidentiality of all patient records. Ensure that the waiting room environment remains clean, calm, and welcoming. Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner. Ad hoc job duties as required. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: A passion for people and helping others. Minimum high school diploma. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under little supervision. The ability the multi-task and adapt in a dynamic environment. The ability to communicate effectively and clearly. Basic computer and social media literacy. A go getter that takes initiative and brings ideas to the team. An interest in alternative health. Professional Background in customer service
Hybrid:
The position is 3-4 days per week. You will be required to be in-office 2-3 days per week, depending on patient schedule. Other days you can work from home.
