Job Description

Dental Front Desk/ Check-out Kidz Planet Pediatric Dentistry is seeking to add a front desk rock star to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity within a growing company. We are looking for an outgoing, professional, and career-oriented person.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Enter insurance and personal payments received into the patient accounts in Eaglesoft.
  • Handle patient billing questions that may arise.
  • Check patient eligibility the day before the appointment.
  • Input the proper insurance and financial information for new patients
  • Take phone calls and schedule appointments.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability and drive to meet company goals.
  • Minimum of 1 years of previous dental/medical administrative experience.
  • Outgoing personality, ability to build rapport and develop relationships with patients.
  • Be very detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus.
  • Very good understanding of Dental/Medical insurance billing, dental codes, and procedures.
If you don't know the dental codes, you'll be expected to get proficient with them within a week. This is very important because if you don't know the codes and the procedures they correspond to, there will be confusion when you file the claims.
BENEFITS
This position ranges from $15/hr
  • $19/hr based on experience and your immediate impact on the finances of the practice. We also offer a monthly bonus on top of your pay, paid time off and paid holidays. Our hours are M-Th 8:00
  • 5:00 with alternating Fridays in our Hilton Head office

We have two office locations. Our team travels between these offices with 4 days in our Port Royal location and one day a week in our Hilton Head office. Each office is paperless and digital with Eaglesoft software in each location.
