Job Description

Private Medical Practice is seeking a DYNAMIC Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. If you have a positive outlook, take initiative, and are looking for a challenging career in healthcare, then this is the position for you. Ideal candidate will possess proficient computer skills, a friendly, outgoing personality excellent communication and organizational skills, provide exemplary customer service and possess the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Previous medical office experience is preferred. Knowledge of endocrinology, supplements, or functional medicine is desirable.
Job Requirements:
3+ years of front office Medical Receptionist experience Adept at problem solving, critical thinking and grasping complex concepts Experience with EMR / Scheduling systems 3+ years of experience with collecting money in-office and by phone Working knowledge with billing and insurance/verifying eligibility Ability to connect with people while demonstrating a warm, welcoming energy. Working knowledge of office equipment (printer, fax, copier) Word Processing 50 WPM Able to compose professional email correspondence Ability to work well independently and in a team Better than average knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel Preferred Ability to work more than an 8 hour day when needed
