About Us America's Family Doctors is a patient-centered healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional medical care. We're seeking a friendly and organized Medical Front Desk Associate to join our team and ensure a welcoming experience for our patients. Position Overview The Medical Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for our patients. This role involves greeting and assisting patients, managing appointment schedules, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the clinical team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival. Check patients in and out, verifying insurance information and collecting co-pays as needed. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments. Answer and route phone calls and messages professionally. Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required). Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (required). Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance verification (preferred). Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
