Job Description

We have been at the same location 23 years and we need an
EXPERIENCED
medical receptionist who has worked in a PCP's OFFICE and who is organized, methodical, and thorough in checking patient's insurances. If you do not have at least 6 months of RECENT (within last 12 months) and
RELEVANT
experience, you will not be interviewed unless you have a degree or certification as a Medical Receptionist.
  • Duties:
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Schedule and manage appointments
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
  • Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments
  • Collaborate with all medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is
REQUIRED
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical office systems such as Azalea is helpful
  • Knowledge of medical scheduling procedures and terminology is helpful
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail is
REQUIRED
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment is
REQUIRED
