Job Description

Medical Assistant and Reception position About us Family Orthopedics adn Rehabilitation is a company in Arlington, TX 76015. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented receptionist to join our busy medical practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring a smooth and professional front office experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a timely and professional manner Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances Clearly explain insurance coverage, patient responsibility, and account balances Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations Process and coordinate referrals and authorizations Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPPA compliance Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors
Qualifications:
Previous medical office or receptionist experience required Experience with EMR systems required; E-EClinicalWorks preferred Knowledge of insurance billing, patient balances, and collections required Ability to confidently explain charges, insurance coverage, and payment responsibilities to patients Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and positive attitude
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual in English and Vietnamese (highly preferred)
