Austin Family Dentistry, a privately owned general dental practice in North Austin, is seeking an exceptional Team Lead & Financial Coordinator to join our growing team. We are committed to delivering outstanding patient care and creating an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through treatment completion. We are looking for a positive, organized, and results-driven leader with at least four years of administrative dental experience who can help guide our team, support our patients, and contribute to the continued success of our practice. What We're Looking For Minimum 4 years of dental administrative experience Strong knowledge of dental insurance and financial coordination Experience leading and supporting team members Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Dentrix experience required Bilingual preferred Registered Dental Assistant certification is a plus Responsibilities Lead and support the administrative team in delivering an exceptional patient experience Verify insurance benefits and eligibility Submit electronic insurance claims with appropriate documentation and attachments Follow up on outstanding claims and manage insurance aging reports Monitor and manage accounts receivable Coordinate treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients Help patients understand and maximize their benefits Assist with patient check-in and check-out as needed Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure smooth daily operations Track goals, identify opportunities for improvement, and help drive practice growth The Ideal Candidate You are a proactive leader who enjoys solving problems, building systems, and helping others succeed.
