About Us We are a busy and growing medical clinic committed to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care. We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-service-oriented Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. Position Summary The Front Desk Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls appropriately Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Verify patient demographics and insurance information Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Scan, fax, and upload medical documents as needed Manage incoming referrals and coordinate patient communications Assist patients with forms and registration paperwork Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of customer service or receptionist experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer proficiency and typing skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
Preferred:
Previous medical office or healthcare experience Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Skills Excellent customer service Strong attention to detail Dependability and punctuality Ability to maintain confidentiality Team-oriented attitude Strong organizational and time-management skills Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off (10 days after initial 90 days) Paid holidays (5 days) Retirement plan (if applicable after 1 yr) Supportive and professional work environment Schedule Monday through Friday Day shift No weekends (if applicable) How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed.
