Martin, MD Dallas, TX (Medical City Dallas Campus) About Us Dr. Amy Martin's practice is a patient-focused OB/GYN office dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. Position Summary The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities Greet and check patients in and out Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments Verify insurance benefits, deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket responsibilities Verify insurance eligibility prior to appointments Collect copays, balances, and outstanding patient payments Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information Respond to patient messages and communication requests Manage recalls and follow-up calls for patients Assist with membership enrollment and membership account updates Run and review daily, weekly, and monthly office reports Scan, upload, and organize patient documentation Maintain a clean and organized front office area Work closely with provider and clinical staff to ensure smooth office operations Qualifications Minimum 3 year of medical receptionist experience preferred Experience with insurance verification and patient collections required Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work independently Experience with
MODMED EMR
