If your personality is bubbly and love interacting with people, please apply! Has to be able to multitask. You must be out-going and a team player. We are EMR based located in pleasant grove. Ability to work in a fast-paced learning environment and have multitasking abilities is a must. Must have Medical office experience. Know how to do multiple things at once, take direction.

MULTITASKER
Duties listed are but not limited to:
  • Daily administrative activities, including check-in and check-out
  • Collecting Payments (copays, deductibles, form payment, and admin fees)
  • Schedule appointments between providers and patients
  • Maintaining a full schedule for the providers to ensure clinic productivity
  • Live and online Insurance Verifications
  • Updating patient's medical record
  • Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families
  • Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone
  • Professionally assist the doctor, physician assistant, staff, visitors, and patients
  • Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Obtaining medical records while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Maintain confidentiality of doctor, physician assistant, staff, and patients
  • Act as a liaison between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
  • Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays
  • Maintaining business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs
  • Insurance verification Following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Referrals will also be taken over by this position

Medical Office Receptionist Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Basic knowledge of medical insurance (Copays, Deductibles, Coinsurance, Medicaid & Medicare)
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS
High school graduate or GED with training as a MOA with a minimum of 12 months directly applicable work experience and current credentials are preferred
JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE
