The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of medical administrative procedures. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining accurate medical records. Your role is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering exceptional patient service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing outstanding customer service at the front desk. Schedule patient appointments efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Nextgen. Collect and review patient documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy for medical records management. Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Maintain organized filing systems for medical records, ensuring confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support clinic operations by managing patient intake, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications. Skills Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Nextgen. Strong knowledge of medical terminology. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy healthcare setting. Previous clinic or medical office experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail in documentation review and data entry to ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
