We are the only birthing center in Fort Worth to offer comprehensive Certified Nurse-Midwifery care. At FWBC we believe that birth, pregnancy and the postpartum experience are natural healthy and significant experiences in the life of a woman. Our care philosophy supports listening to and respecting women regarding their health care choices anddecisions. First impressions are important! Fort Worth Birthing and Wellness Center is seeking a full-time receptionist who is motivated to provide an incredible experience to our patients. Our ideal candidate has receptionist experience in a fast-paced office setting, is intrinsically motivated, upbeat, personable,team oriented and passionate about midwifery care.
Medical Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining recordsand accounts. Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referringinquiries. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patient's arrival, reviewingservice delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays. Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties, answering patients' questions, andmaintainingthe reception area. Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financialinformation. Obtains revenue by collecting patient payments,recording and updating financial information. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financialinformation. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 30 minutes at a time or longer Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly with all English-speaking employees and customers Work Location 1401 Henderson St. Fort Worth, TX 76102 and other Midwife+Co Locations as directed by supervisor. Work Hours & Benefits Must be available to work Monday-Friday 7:55 am - 5:00 pm and evening tours until 6:30 pm, as scheduled. Insurance benefits, 401-K, paid holidays and paid vacation available after 6 month probationary period.
