Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk to join our team. The Front Desk will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk area, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties:
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using eClinicalWorks or similar software
  • Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments from patients
  • Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Handle patient inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Train and supervise front desk staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Oversee inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
  • Proficient in medical terminology and administrative support tasks
  • Strong knowledge of phone systems and appointment scheduling software (eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
