The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a smooth patient experience, and providing administrative support to our medical staff. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in medical software, and a strong understanding of health information management. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures. Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using eClinicalWorks or similar software. Perform insurance verification and handle medical collections as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health information management standards. Process patient forms and documentation efficiently. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining the front desk area. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred. Proficiency in medical software applications such as eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, Dentrix, or similar systems. Knowledge of ICD 10 coding is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
