Job Description
Overview Hulu Health Clinic is an integrated healthcare clinic in Katy, Texas, providing Family Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Acupuncture services. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and patient-focused Medical Front Desk / Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients Schedule and confirm appointments Check patients in and out Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Collect copays and patient balances Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system Submit insurance claims accurately and timely Post insurance and patient payments Follow up on claim status as needed Manage incoming faxes, emails, and office correspondence Assist providers with administrative support Help maintain efficient daily clinic operations Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the clinic Qualifications Medical office experience preferred Medical billing experience preferred Knowledge of insurance verification procedures Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be reliable, professional, and able to maintain patient confidentiality Bilingual is a plus
