About the Role Monarch Dermatology PLLC is seeking a full-time, experienced Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a warm, professional, and welcoming experience while supporting the clinical team with essential administrative and insurance-related responsibilities. Who Should Apply We are looking for candidates who have: Prior experience in a medical office (dermatology preferred) A strong understanding of insurance eligibility, prior authorizations, and patient benefits Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A team-first mindset with adaptability and professionalism Comfort working in a busy, patient-focused environment Experience with EMA (Modernizing Medicine) is a plus Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally Check patients in and out, verifying demographic and insurance information Schedule appointments and follow-up visits accurately Handle incoming phone calls and triage inquiries appropriately Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations Collect patient payments accurately Triage incoming faxes Coordinate referrals and medical records Maintain a clean, organized front office environment Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office (required) Experience with insurance verification and authorizations (required) Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills If you are looking to join a compassionate, high-performing team and want to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives, we encourage you to apply.
