TEAM PLAYER
Schedule appointments accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Practice Fusion and (ECW) eclinicalworks Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, Answering Calls, Returning Calls, Transferring Calls, Sending Messages, Scheduling, Updating Patient Demographics Information and Insurances. Collecting Co-Pays, Coinsurance Payments Clean Hygiene Must have professional appearance at all times Trustworthy and have patience, Trainable, Quick Learner, Multitask Trouble shooter, Must take criticism Scanning and attaching records Keep the lobby and bathrooms clean and your area Help print New Patient paperwork Assist where needed Verify patient insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures Prior to patient being seen. Verify their HMO Authorizations are up to date and current with enough Allowable visits. Check patients in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and recorded correctly Review and update medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review Assist with billing processes including medical collection procedures and CPT coding when necessary Maintain organized filing of medical records and ensure confidentiality of health information management Requirements Bilingual fluency in English and another language; strong communication skills in both languages are essential Prior experience in a medical office setting or clinic environment preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Familiarity with EMR systems such as Practice Fusion, eClinicalWorks, or Dentrix is a plus, Athena and all others Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, typing (including 10 key), and office management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills, and ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and calmly Their is a 90 day waiting Period for Benefits Must work an 8 hour shift Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while developing your skills in a supportive, energetic environment!
