Dental Insurance/Dental Front Desk

Well established Cosmetic and General Dental Private Practice is looking for a dynamic full-time Front Desk Associate well versed in Dental Insurance. Must have impeccable leadership skills and communication skills as well as 5+ years of Dental Front Desk and Dental Insurance Billing experience. Our practice focuses on elective dentistry, as Dr. Beougher is one of the top cosmetic and general dentists in the area. Patients come to Smile Maker of Texas from over 20 states and 12 different countries to have Dr. Beougher work his smile magic for them! A well-rounded understanding of cosmetic and general dentistry, as well as the sales process, is a must. Must have a full understanding of Dental Insurance Verification and Claims Billing. SmileMakerTX.com. This is a full time position averaging 36-38 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 to 5:30 with a 1 hour lunch break. We do offer monthly profit sharing, holiday pay, and vacation pay. Several staff members have been with Dr. Beougher over 20 years. Duties include but are not limited to: Total Teamwork and Excellent Communication Skills Must be familiar with Open Dental Software Verify and submit dental insurance claims Daily follow-up on all insurance Confident with treatment presentation and financial discussion/collection Scheduling and managing doctor and hygiene treatment schedule Greeting and welcoming patients and visitors with a smile! Managing the creation and update of patient information following HIPPA Pulling & filing charts, data entry, inventory, answering phones & emails Assisting clinical staff as needed with admin tasks if needed

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5+ years in a DENTAL front desk position. Be knowledgeable with 5+ years in DENTAL insurance verification of eligibility, codes, submissions, allowables, billing, and payments . Able to answer the phone all day long with a smile on your voice. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent phone skills. Competent computer skills required. Must speak and write English fluently and clearly.
