Job Description

Medical Receptionist Join Our Team! We are a busy, growing pediatric orthopedic practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and their families. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, compassionate environment where teamwork, professionalism, and outstanding patient care come first. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist who enjoys working with children and thrives in a fast-paced medical office. If you have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and enjoy being part of a supportive team, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Welcome patients and families with professionalism and compassion Answer and direct incoming phone calls Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Obtain insurance prior authorizations Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances Prepare patient charts for upcoming appointments Review patient accounts to ensure required paperwork and information are complete Maintain accurate electronic medical records Assist with other front office duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office preferred Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to work independently while contributing to a team Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who: Enjoys working with children and families Maintains a positive, professional attitude during busy clinic days Learns quickly and adapts to changing priorities Takes initiative and is willing to help wherever needed Communicates well with patients and coworkers Is committed to providing an exceptional patient experience Why Join Us?
