Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Receptionist to join our busy dental practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your responsibilities will include handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and assisting with administrative tasks to keep our office running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with a warm and professional demeanor. Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments to optimize the daily schedule. Handle incoming phone calls, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, process claims, and collect co-pays. Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance. Follow up on broken appointments, recalls, and unfinished treatments. Assist in processing patient payments and maintaining financial records. Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and office efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous dental office experience preferred Knowledge of PPO and Medicaid insurance verification is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with dental software Open Dental is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must have
