Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist and Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while efficiently managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications. Your expertise in treatment plan coordination will help patients understand their care options clearly and confidently, fostering trust and satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative excellence with patient-centered care in a fast-paced dental environment. Responsibilities Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software, ensuring optimal patient flow Coordinate treatment plans by explaining procedures clearly, reviewing documentation, and ensuring patients understand their care options Maintain HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient information and handling sensitive data with confidentiality Collaborate with dental providers to ensure seamless communication between clinical staff and administrative functions. Present treatment plans confidently, clearly, and with compassion Discuss finances, insurance breakdowns, and payment options Manage patient accounts, financial agreements, and accurate ledgers. Follow up with pending treatment and assist with recall/reactivation to keep patients on track. You will be using Opendental scheduling software to manage appointments efficiently. Skills Proven experience in dental office administration or medical front desk roles with strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinic procedures. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (10-key), and familiarity with office equipment like multi-line phones and fax machines. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in all tasks. Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with dental terminology such as care plans and intake procedures is advantageous.
