Dental Receptionist

Summary As a Dental Receptionist at Hurricane Dental Group, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in managing appointments and facilitating communication between patients and the rest of the dental team. This position is essential in supporting our mission of delivering outstanding dental care. The Receptionist is the face and voice of the practice and must be friendly, outgoing, and trustworthy. The schedule is currently 3-4 days per week. Knowledge of Dentrix and insurance verification is a plus. Pay depends on experience. Not able to work around college class schedules. The job is 9 am-5 pm Responsibilities Greet patients with a smile and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar to optimize patient flow. Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries. Handle phone calls with a smile, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered. Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and sending emails. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication and patient care. Qualifications Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing patient records. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Experience in using Dentrix for scheduling. Experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
