$21•25 per hour, based on experience Join a Patient Focused Specialty Medical Practice We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Medical Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing healthcare team in Annandale, Virginia. This position is ideal for a healthcare professional with strong experience in medical front office operations, insurance verification, patient scheduling, EMR systems, and prior authorizations. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting the daily operations of a busy specialty medical practice. Key Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide a professional, friendly check-in and check-out experience Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and appointment requests Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments Obtain and manage prior authorizations with insurance carriers Collect copays, balances, and patient payments Maintain accurate patient information within the EMR system Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff Support daily front office operations and patient flow Ensure a positive and patient-centered experience throughout each visit Required Qualifications Fluent in Spanish and English, including speaking, reading, and writing Minimum of two years of medical front office experience Experience obtaining and managing insurance prior authorizations Experience verifying insurance eligibility and benefits Experience working within an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Strong customer service and patient communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in an ENT, Allergy, Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary, or other specialty medical practice Working knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE plans Experience with patient registration, scheduling, and medical office workflows Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate combines strong administrative skills with a genuine commitment to patient care.
