Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care and medical office administration. As the first point of contact for patients, you will ensure smooth clinic operations, manage front desk tasks, and provide exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, and knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing processes are essential. Bilingual candidates and those with prior medical office experience are highly valued. Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and deliver outstanding patient experience.
  • Schedule appointments using EMR/EHR systems Modemed, Topple, Klara, Allergy Edge
  • Perform insurance verification and confirm coverage details.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
  • Operate multi-line phone systems and assist with patient inquiries.
  • Organize and file medical records efficiently.
  • Support patient intake procedures, including data entry and appointment confirmations.
  • Assist with office management tasks such as filing and documentation review.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for communication and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health information privacy regulations. Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or ENT/hospital setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR software Modemed, Topple, Klara, Allergy Edge
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing processes.
  • Strong computer skills, including typing, Microsoft Office, and multi-line phone systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and customer service mindset.
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Office administration or clerical experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
