  • At Smile Design of Northern Virginia, we are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and compassionate environment.
We are currently seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team in 11351 Random Hills Rd, Suite 290, Fairfax, VA 22030. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive top-notch service from the moment they walk through our doors.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Warmly greet and assist patients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Answer incoming calls, take messages, and provide accurate information to callers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently and manage calendars for dental staff.
  • Handle administrative duties including filing, data entry, and insurance verification.
  • Assist with inventory management and order entry as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events within the clinic.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages promptly.
  • Provide general administrative support to the dental team.
  • Skills:
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental office procedures is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using 'Open Dental' software systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Attention to detail with exceptional proofreading capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
