Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and highly organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a critical role in shaping the patient experience and keeping our daily operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities Patient Hospitality :
Greet patients warmly as they arrive, manage checkout, and maintain a clean, welcoming front office environment.
Appointment Scheduling :
Manage the daily practice schedule, optimize appointment slots, answer phone calls, and send text/email reminders to minimize no-shows.
Insurance Coordination :
Verify patient insurance benefits, update coverage details, and process claims accurately.
Billing & Payments :
Collect copays, process credit card/cash transactions, discuss treatment plan financing, and handle daily billing records.
Records Management :
Create and maintain accurate electronic dental charts while ensuring strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills Experience :
1+ years of dental front office experience is highly preferred (willing to train the right person).
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Software :
Proficiency with Dentrix practice management software is a major plus.
Knowledge :
Basic understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance coding.
Interpersonal Skills :
Strong multitasking abilities, a calm demeanor under pressure, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
