Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Front Office Administrator and become the welcoming face of our clinic! This energetic role is vital in creating a positive patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors. You will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, handle insurance processes, and ensure smooth administrative workflows. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help us deliver exceptional care while maintaining efficient office management. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing outstanding patient service. Duties Greet patients warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and schedule appointments with precision using dental practice management software such as Oryx. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance authorization and verification, and handle insurance claims processing utilizing systems. Manage patient intake, update dental records, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness in compliance with HIPAA regulations Process payments, perform collection activities, and handle billing tasks, including ADA codes and insurance processing. Maintain organized filing of medical records, dental charts, and administrative documents while ensuring confidentiality in accordance with health information management standards Assist with office management tasks such as inventory control, appointment reminders, and coordinating care plans with clinical staff Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, typing skills (including 10 key typing), and proficiency in Microsoft Office to support daily administrative functions Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or medical office environment with strong front desk or receptionist responsibilities Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Dental Records) systems like Oryx. Knowledge of dental terminology and ADA codes. Prior experience verifying insurance benefits and managing medical collections is highly desirable Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with multi-line phone systems and office management software preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism under pressure Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Social media management of postings and videos. Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
