Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Utilize medical scheduling software such as eClinicalWorks to update patient records and appointments
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience with medical scheduling systems like eClinicalWorks and Epic
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling patient service inquiries
