About Us:
We are a private, fast-paced oral and maxillofacial surgery practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Our small but dynamic team works closely together to ensure smooth daily operations and a seamless patient experience.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and prior experience in a dental or medical office. This role is crucial in maintaining efficient front desk operations and ensuring outstanding patient interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify insurance information and assist with patient billing inquiries Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow Collect patient outstanding balances and ensure accurate payment processing Maintain and update patient records with confidentiality and accuracy Communicate effectively with our team and with other offices Handle general administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, and correspondence
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience in a dental or medical office is preferred (oral surgery experience is a plus) Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with professionalism Familiarity with dental insurance and patient billing is preferred Proficiency in dental/medical software is a plus High level of reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail

Work Hours:
Mondays:
8:30 AM to 5 PM (lunch hour at noon) Tuesdays to
Fridays:
7:30 AM to 5 PM (lunch hour at noon)
Location:
Our practice operates out of two offices located in Bellingham and Mount Vernon. Our team travels between these locations. For this position, you will be based in Bellingham on Mondays. From Tuesday to Friday, you will travel with the team between the two offices: two days in Bellingham and two days in Mount Vernon. The successful candidate will need to be flexible with traveling between these locations throughout the week.
