$20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Full-Time Be the Voice and Heart of Our Agency Alpha Home Health & Hospice is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Receptionist / Administrative Coordinator to support our growing home health and hospice team. This is much more than a front desk position. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping patients and families, and can confidently balance multiple responsibilities while delivering exceptional customer service. If you are detail-oriented, professional on the phone, and enjoy being the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Serve as the first point of contact for patients, families, referral sources, physicians, and community partners Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism, warmth, and urgency Assist with intake coordination and referral processing Support medical records management and document tracking Maintain patient and administrative files in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements Process physician orders and ensure timely follow-up on signed documentation Assist with scheduling, correspondence, data entry, and general office operations Coordinate office supplies and administrative support functions Support leadership and clinical teams with a variety of projects and administrative tasks Help create a welcoming and positive experience for patients, families, visitors, and staff What We're Looking For Outstanding phone presence and communication skills Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Professional, dependable, and highly organized Comfortable working independently while supporting a collaborative team environment Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and electronic systems Ability to type at least 50 WPM Medical terminology knowledge preferred Home health, hospice, healthcare, medical office, intake, scheduling, or administrative experience strongly preferred The Ideal Candidate You are the type of person who notices details others miss. You enjoy solving problems, keeping things organized, and helping people. You remain calm when phones are ringing, priorities are shifting, and multiple team members need support at the same time.
