Medical Front Office Receptionist Evergreen Prosthetics & Orthotics - 5.0 Vancouver, WA Job Details Full-time $21 - $23 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Bilingual Collaborate with healthcare professionals Insurance verification Patient assessment Greeting customers English Wheelchair mobility assistance Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking an Office Administrator to add to our established Washington clinic in Vancouver, and Salmon Creek Providing superior service to our patients and effective collaboration with our allied healthcare professional, the Office Administrator will provide customer service to patients, co-workers, and referral sources through the front office responsibilities. Evergreen Prosthetics & Orthotics, LLC was founded in 2005 out of a desire to provide patient centered prosthetic and orthotic care. Over the years, a commitment to clinical excellence and dependable care has grown Evergreen from two small clinics in Oregon and Washington to over 25 locations across the United States. Today we are honored to serve more than 10,000 patients across the United States. Our desire to deliver the very best in prosthetic & orthotic resources, education & care has powered our success. Because we want to ensure that each patient receives the highest level of care, attention, and support, we grow thoughtfully, always looking for communities in need.
Typical responsibilities include:
Patient appointment scheduling Insurance verification experience preferred Creation of new patient charts and maintenance of patient records Scanning and filing patient documents and ensuring complete and accurate information Managing incoming phone calls Obtaining insurance authorization Providing financial counseling for patients and taking co-insurance payments Requesting documentation such as detailed written orders, physician chart notes and letters of medical necessity
Minimum Qualification:
High school diploma or GED required. 2 years of office administrative experience Ability to get along with others and work under pressure Multitasking Greet patients with a warm and inviting demeanor
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 25 pounds Assist patients in wheelchairs Communicate clearly with patients, referral sources and insurance companies Schedule Monday thru Friday, 8am -5pm Full time employees are eligible for the following: Competitive Pay Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 7 Paid Holidays per Year Paid Time Off 401(k)
