Solstice Health Solstice Health, Wisconsin's leading non-insurance-based Direct Primary Care (DPC) and Direct Surgery Care (DSC) provider, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. We're looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about patient care, and is eager to support our mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage a high volume of phone calls, schedule appointments, and efficiently handle patient inquiries. Maintain accurate patient records, perform data entry, and manage administrative support tasks. Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers. Assist with basic medical assisting tasks (training provided if needed). Work closely with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery.
Qualifications:
Dependable and able to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced medical office. Experience in medical reception, medical assisting, or healthcare administration is a plus. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical billing, and coding (or willingness to learn). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual proficiency is a plus. Proficiency in office equipment, scheduling software, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
