Job Description
Medical Scribe Job Description This position is a based in Madison, Alabama. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team with one of our clinical physicians and/or nurse practitioners, assisting with transcribing verbal and written notes into readable documents for medical records. You must be familiar with medical terminology and have excellent listening and data-entry skills. Reliability and a strong work ethic combined with great communication skills are a must, as well as familiarity with all necessary office equipment, software, and procedures. Assist the Nurse Practitioner/Psychiatrist by accompanying them throughout the patient visit, recording details into the medical record and coordinating departmental resources regarding assessments, tests, orders and results.
