  • Full-time Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Scribe and Medical Assistant, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical workflows.
In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between physicians and patients, ensuring accurate medical documentation while providing essential clinical support. Your proactive attitude and commitment to excellence will help create a positive, efficient environment that benefits both patients and healthcare providers. Duties Transcribe detailed physician-patient interactions in real-time using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring precise and comprehensive medical documentation. Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by preparing rooms, gathering supplies, and managing medical records with accuracy. Collect patient histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information to support diagnosis and treatment plans. Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and institutional policies. Support clinical procedures by preparing necessary equipment, assisting during minor procedures, and managing specimen collection when needed. Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately document complex medical information. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and supporting front desk operations to optimize clinic efficiency. Monday through Thursday ONLY. Off every Friday! Experience Prior experience working in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate data entry and record keeping. Strong transcription skills with the ability to quickly and accurately convert spoken information into written records. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role. Experience with medical documentation standards ensures clarity and compliance across all records. Familiarity with medical office procedures including patient intake, appointment scheduling, and handling medical records is advantageous. Previous exposure to emergency room environments or urgent care settings is a plus for handling high-pressure situations efficiently.
