Medical Staff Supervisor and Physicians Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with a current certification or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment. Excellent clinical competency and knowledge of sterile technique Ability to multi-task and take direction from physician Efficient in charting in electronic health record (EHR) Emphasis on quality care and patient satisfaction Prior experience in dermatology beneficial or will train for dermatology specialty

Position Highlights:

Greet and room patients, complete intake (HPI) Assist with dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies, ED&C, and minor surgeries Change dressings, remove sutures, and perform patch testing Document patient visits using EMR Provide patient education on diagnoses and treatment plans Handle incoming calls, prescription requests and communicate biopsy results Maintain clean, organized, and HIPPA- compliant work enviroment
