Full-time Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately transcribe medical documentation and assist with medical record management. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the medical field.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany healthcare professionals during patient encounters to accurately document medical information
• Transcribe medical histories, physical examinations, procedures, and other relevant information
• Enter data into electronic medical record (EMR) systems in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with medical record management, including organizing and maintaining patient files
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
• Excellent typing skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. We use NextGen as our eMR.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this is a paid position.
