Job Description

Medical Scribe (Full-Time) CCCHC, a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting physicians and enhancing patient care by ensuring accurate and efficient medical documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This role offers a competitive salary, an end-of-year bonus based on performance, and strong potential for professional growth. Position Overview The Medical Scribe works closely with physicians during patient visits to accurately document medical histories, examinations, procedures, and treatment plans in the EMR system. By managing clerical and documentation responsibilities, the scribe improves provider efficiency, patient flow, and overall clinic productivity. The position is based mostly in Sherman Oaks. Once a week in Culver City, for the time being. Key Responsibilities Ability to prioritize tasks. Accompany physicians during patient visits to document medical histories, exams, procedures, diagnoses, discharge instructions, prescriptions, and follow-up plans. Prepare, organize, and maintain medical record documentation within the EMR. Transcribe and enter consultation findings and related clinical data into appropriate EMR fields. Support clinic workflow by anticipating provider needs and assisting with administrative and clerical tasks. Will be trained thoroughly with senior scribe. Perform additional duties as assigned by the physician or clinic manager. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma required. Prior medical scribing experience (2+ years preferred). Medical terminology knowledge preferred. Experience with EMR systems preferred; familiarity with NextGen EHR is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
