Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a high-level Medical Office Manager and Scribe to lead our surgical clinic. This is a dual-impact role requiring a seasoned professional who can seamlessly transition between high-level clinic operations and real-time medical dictation. Professional fluency in Spanish and prior experience in medical office management are strictly required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
(Non-Negotiable)
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of leadership/management experience in a medical office setting.
Language:
Native-level or professional fluency in Spanish (Verbal and Written). You will be the primary translator for complex medical visits and procedures.
Scribing:
Proven ability to document patient encounters in an EMR in real-time while maintaining 100% accuracy.
Technical:
Strong proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and health information management.
Logistics:
Must be able to travel to our Turlock office as needed (approx. 1-2 times per month).
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinic Leadership:
Oversee daily clinic flow, resolve scheduling conflicts, and manage staff to ensure a "zero-wait-time" patient experience.
Medical Scribing & Translation:
Accompany the doctor during patient visits to transcribe visit notes, translate medical instructions for Spanish-speaking patients, and ensure all EHR data is audit-ready.
Schedule Optimization:
Actively "scrub" the schedule to fill gaps, confirm high-priority surgical consultations, and manage referral faxes with urgency.
Administrative Oversight:
Review medical records for compliance and ensure patient needs are being met.
