Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Scribe, where you will play a vital role in enhancing patient care and clinical efficiency. In this fast-paced, detail-oriented position, you will work alongside healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters, ensuring comprehensive and precise medical records. Your expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology will support clinicians by capturing real-time clinical information, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, procedures, and consultations in real-time or immediately afterward. Accurately document patient histories, physical exams, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Assist healthcare providers by managing medical documentation efficiently within various EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems to ensure completeness and compliance. Maintain thorough and organized medical records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations. Support clinicians by understanding and translating complex medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and emergency procedures into clear documentation. Collaborate with medical staff to verify the accuracy of records and update patient information as needed. Demonstrate proficiency in typing and transcription skills to keep pace with fast-moving clinical environments, including emergency room settings when applicable. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency procedures. Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for documentation purposes. Excellent transcription skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with medical records management and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care clinics. Proficiency in typing quickly while maintaining precision is essential for success in this role. This position is an excellent stepping stone for individuals passionate about healthcare who want to gain hands-on experience working closely with medical professionals while honing their documentation skills in a supportive environment.
