Mountain View, CA Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•4:30 PM, negotiable

Salary Range:
$20•28/hour Position Overview We are seeking a Medical Scribe to join our ENT practice to support our healthcare providers. The Medical Scribe accurately documents patient encounters in real time and assists with administrative and clinical workflow tasks. The scribe plays a critical role in improving provider efficiency, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting high-quality patient care while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties:
Accompany providers during patient visits and accurately document patient history, chief complaints, review of systems, physical examination findings, assessments, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up instructions Enter information into the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system in a timely and accurate manner Prepare charts prior to patient appointments by reviewing records, lab results, imaging, and prior notes Assist providers with order entry, referrals, prescriptions, and documentation support as directed Maintain awareness of clinic flow and assist in improving operational efficiency Ensure all medical records comply with clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and documentation standards Communicate professionally with physicians, staff, and patients Support additional administrative or clinical documentation tasks as needed
Qualifications Required:
Previous experience as a medical scribe, MA, or other clinical role Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Strong typing (at least 60 wpm) and computer skills Ability to listen to complex medical information and summarize in a clear, complete fashion Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional demeanor and strong communication skills Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment Compassionate, patient-centered approach Team player with flexibility to cover other roles as needed
Preferred:
Experience using electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems Certification as a Medical Scribe Pre-medical, nursing, or allied health educational background ENT or specialty practice experience Epic EMR system experience Bilingual abilities About Our Practice We are a new ENT private practice committed to exceptional patient care and experience.
