50 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Anatomy knowledge Vital signs Physiology knowledge Injection administration Time management Full Job Description Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Assist healthcare providers in documenting patient medical records in real-time Accurately and efficiently enter patient information, medical history, and examination findings into electronic health records (EHR) systems Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation Prepare and organize patient charts for appointments and procedures Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations Review and verify medical records for completeness and accuracy Obtain the patient's medical and medication history and document in EMR. Obtain and record a patient's vital signs Prepare patient for examination or treatment Assist the physician/physician assistant in performing the examination or treatment Ability to administer injections Ability to accurately withdraw medication to be administered Demonstrate the ability to use medical equipment for spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pump programmers. (where applicable) Participate in a comprehensive plan of care to meet the ongoing needs of the patient Basic knowledge of human anatomy & physiology and it's relation to the practice of pain management Perform administrative tasks such as typing, scheduling of appointments, and maintaining medical records, check in front desk duties, authorizations et al. Maintain professionalism and respect to patient privacy at all times Punctual and consistent attendance Possess excellent time management skills Ability to critically think and make appropriate decisions Maintain and clean rooms and equipment Restock supplies and take inventory of supplies needed Assist in other areas of the office (front/back) as needed.

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Familiarity with hospital procedures and protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately transcribe medical information
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare providers, patients, and other staff members
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Experience with taking vital signs, or administering medications is a plus
