Certified Medical Assistant Geriatrics Full Job Description Duties:
  • Provide support for physicians and all other providers.
  • Responsible for all clinical and administrative tasks as a medical assistant in addition to scribing an encounter note.
  • Ensures all plan recommendations are accurate, complete, and carried out
  • Assist in various administrative tasks including, but not limited to phone answering, lab and radiology review, updating quality assurance measures, scheduling office appointments, medication refills, prior authorizations, faxes, triage.
  • Assist in clinical tasks such as injections, EKG, audiometry, Snellen, capillary draw, UA, strep screen, COVID testing, culture collection, spirometry, ear lavage, recording vital signs
  • Maintain nurses station
  • Ensure supplies/equipment are available, in good condition, and are not expired
  • Stocking
  • Other administrative and clinical tasks delegated by management/supervisor
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
