This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop comprehensive healthcare experience in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Preparing and assembling medical record documentation/charts for physician(s) Entering the patient room with the physician during patient visit to capture and transcribe medical record documentation utilizing electronic medical record applications Ensuring medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation to include: Scribe name, title and doctor working for as well as specific date and time entry Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters in real-time using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with precision and clarity. Accurately transcribes all data as dictated by provider within 48-72 hours of visit Updating patient history, physical exam and other pertinent health information in the patient record Preparing and sending all documentation to physician for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures Compliance with hospital and ProScribe policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission Regular and reliable attendance at assigned facility required Candidate must have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology at a level normally acquired through a medical office environment. At least one-year experience in medical office. Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. This position requires that data entry be performed at the office. Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team member.' Gather and record vital signs, patient histories, and other essential intake information to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning . Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, preparing patients for examinations. Utilize ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding to ensure proper documentation for billing and insurance purposes while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding standards. Experience with EHR systems and proficiency in documenting complex medical encounters accurately preferred. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking across clinical support and documentation duties while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hourBenefits:
