Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, full-time dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring that medical records are complete and up-to-date. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in the medical field, particularly those looking to gain valuable experience in a clinical environment. Responsibilities Accurately transcribe medical documentation during patient visits, including history, physical examinations, and treatment plans. Maintain organized and comprehensive medical records in accordance with established protocols. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure all relevant patient information is captured effectively. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance documentation quality. Assist in the management of electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient care processes. Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times. Support the healthcare team by performing additional administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is essential. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is preferred to enhance understanding of clinical notes. Experience or coursework related to medical office operations is a plus. Proficiency in typing and using computer systems for data entry and record management. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
