We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant/Scribe for a full-time, Monday, Tuesday, WednesdayFriday 8:00-6:30 position at our Port Saint Lucie and Stuart offices . Our practice provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care within the convenience of one medical group. Patient care is our top concern, and because we can provide both diagnosis and rehabilitative services, our patients know they can depend on our team for all their needs.

Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant/Scribe who is comfortable with in-office procedures, medical terminology, strong typing skills for scribing, multitask oriented, ambitious individual with the motivation to learn, able to handle a high volume of incoming patients, must be a self-starter and willing to learn all aspects of the ENT, Allergy and Audiology field.

Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

Desired hands on Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe experience, taking vitals Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures (will train) Preparing exam rooms, strong interpersonal/organization skills, calling in prescriptions, cleaning and sterilizing instruments working knowledge of medical terminology, EMR experience, strong written, verbal and typing skills.

Requirements:

Minimum one-year

HANDS ON

Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe experience. Current with certification or willing to participate and pass our in-house training course and state test. The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members. EMR experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Incumbent must also be able to assist patients in transferring from wheelchair to an exam chair, when necessary. Responsibilities may also require the incumbent to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
