Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe for our specialist office in Flint Township, Michigan.
- Experience in scribing is a MUST
- Previous work in medical facility without being a scribe, is not considered
- Duties include, but not limited to:
- Recording the patient's chief complaint and history.
- Scribing or transcribing physical exam.
- Recording diagnostic test results.
- Preparing assessment and plan for follow-up care.
- Participate in other office duties, as required by the physician.
Job Requirements :
- Proficiency in speaking, writing and typing in English, including correct spelling of routinely used vocabulary.
- K nowledge of medical terminology as well as medical procedures - Priority will be given to those who demonstrate higher than basic knowledge.
- Motivation, dedication, confidence and professionalism.
- Clinical experience is
PREFERRED.
- A college bachelor degree is
PREFERRED.
- Knowledge of working with MS-Office is
PREFERRED.
- Ability to handle a stressful and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend through listening.
- Ability to operate a computer and/or laptop through adept typing, clicking and viewing a monitor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to write legibly by hand.
- Ability to attend work daily on a timely routine.
