Medical Scribe Position MedScribes seeks highly motivated, customer service oriented candidates interested in a health care opportunity to work directly with physicians, patients and the clinical care team. This is a non-clinical role, for which on-site training is provided and certification is NOT required. A scribe will observe physician-patient interactions to provide real time clinical documentation in and around the Triangle area of North Carolina. Minimum Age:

19 years old

Commitment:

Minimum 2-3 shifts per week, about 20 hours per week for 1 year

Transportation:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Typing skills:

Minimum 60 words per minute.

Education:

College-level biology, anatomy, and/or medical terminology preferred.

Experience:

Exposure to clinical environment preferred, but not required.

Personality:

Motivated, eager to learn, customer-oriented, flexible.

Physical Requirement:

Able to stand for long periods of time Typical inpatient schedules for reference below. Candidates should be available to work some weekdays: Inpatient shifts align with physician team schedule for rounding on patients and peak admissions. Several sites have shifts available 7 days per week. 1. Examples of shift times for one inpatient area is : 4:30-11am, 5a-1p, 2. Example of shift times for a second inpatient area: 7a-5p, 5p-1a
