With a team of highly skilled physicians and state-of-the-art facilities, we are committed to providing exceptional urological services in a compassionate environment. Overview This position is M-F, working between 4 to 7 hours each day. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support two urologists by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring seamless communication within the clinical setting, and maintaining comprehensive medical records. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced medical environment while contributing to high-quality patient care. Duties Transcribe detailed physician-patient interactions in real-time during examinations and consultations Accurately document medical histories, physical findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedures using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Assist in organizing and updating patient medical records with precise and thorough information Support physicians by preparing documentation for billing, coding, and insurance purposes Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation tasks Utilize physiology and anatomy knowledge to understand complex medical terminology and procedures Skills Proficiency in transcription with excellent listening and typing skills Prior experience in a medical office or clinical setting is highly preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation management Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy Ability to accurately record detailed medical documentation under pressure Knowledge of medical records management and compliance standards Emergency room experience is a plus but not required; must be adaptable to fast-paced environments Join us as a Medical Scribe and become an integral part of delivering outstanding urological care.
